Case Report – Throat Cancer Long Term Survival DCA + LDN Therapy
- 65 year old female diagnosed with tonsillar squamous cell carcinoma in 2015
- neck node metastases present at the time of diagnosis (stage 3)
- history of type 2 diabetes
- proposed radiation followed by tonsillectomy + neck node dissection
- patient very concerned about radiation side effects, refused
- initial natural therapies including IV vitamin C were not effective
- treated with DCA + LDN + vitamin D + metformin
- DCA stopped after 2 months due to mild side effects, LDN continued
- patient noted gradual tumour reduction
- after 2 years main mass reduced from 7 x 3cm to 3.2 x 2.4cm
- new growth after 4 years, ENT refused limited surgery, advised radical surgery + chemo + radiation, patient declined again
- treated with a course of IV DCA, cancer reduced again, now alive and well over 7 years since diagnosis
