Case Report – Breast Cancer Long-Term Survival with DCA + LDN Therapy

  • 60 year old female with new small superficial breast mass, refused needle biopsy
  • excisional biopsy performed in office by Dr. Khan under local anesthesia
  • confirmed breast cancer, ER+/PR+/HER2-, incompletely excised (positive margins)
  • chemosensitivity testing of live tumour fragment showed highest cell kill with methotrexate chemo, DCA #2 and LDN #3
  • patient refused all conventional therapies including further surgery
  • treated with DCA + LDN + vitamin D
  • DCA stopped after ~ 1 year, LDN continued as maintenance therapy
  • maintained remission and excellent quality of life without side effects
  • small local recurrence after 10 years!
